I live on the Spanish coastline of the Mediterranean.  This is my interpretation of the feeling I get in certain areas of the Costa Brava:  bright sunshine, varied blues in the water, a sense of adventure and freedom.

I find it interesting to experiment with different colors as an underpainting.  This work has cadmium red and magenta acrylic under the oil layer.
